🐎💚💛 Cal Poly Alumni! Our next big event is here! Join us Friday May 15th for the very special and first of its kind collaboration with our Alumni Community and Kennedy Library staff and student researchers: Cal Poly Alumni - Latinx Community: Our Voices Panel Discussion and Reception! 🐎💚💛

Join us on Friday, May 15 for this multi-part event, which includes:
An alumni-student panel discussion bringing to life the "Who We Are And How We Show Up" exhibition; Optional self-guided tour of Kennedy Library and an opportunity for alumni to record their lived experiences in an oral history project; and An alumni networking reception! 🐎💚💛 A beautiful afternoon to celebrate with the 1️⃣2️⃣5️⃣th anniversary of California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) Founder’s Day 🐎💚💛

The Cal Poly Alumni - Central Coast Network community of Cal Poly Alumni Association showed up big! Reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones, while we celebrated our 🐎💚💛

Huge thank you to our host and fellow alumni Miguel Lepe of Lepe Cellars , who not only opened his Marina facility to us, but also poured an assortment of his amazing wine varieties and provided yummy charcuterie ! 🍷🍾🥂🧀🍇🫒

Looking forward to continued growth and gatherings in our community!

🐎💚💛 Join fellow Monterey County Mustangs for a Founders Day Celebration on Saturday, March 7! 🐎💚💛

The Cal Poly Alumni - Salinas Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at alumni-owned Lepe Cellars
(3344 Paul Davis Dr, Marina, CA 93933).
On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.
This Founders Day, we're celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy celebrating everything you love about Cal Poly. Guests will also have the chance to speak with alumni winemaker and owner Miguel Lepe (Wine and Viticulture, '11).
Tickets are $20 and include a tasting flight with five wines, light bites and a special swag item.
Additional wine is available for purchase. This event is open to Cal Poly alumni and supporters of all ages. 🐎💚💛
Space is limited. Registration closes on Sunday, March 1 or when sold out.

📢🗣️📚 Voces de Cal Poly! Call for proposals! 📢🗣️📚
Cal Poly Library invites you to share your recent practice or work on a creative, cultural, or community project that highlights Latinx/e experiences as part of our inaugural Voices de Cal Poly/Cal Poly Voices speaker series.
Held monthly from February through May 2026, this four-part series aims to foster belonging, visibility, and dialogue around creative scholarship and storytelling.

All students, clubs and organizations, faculty and staff, and community members and organizations are invited to apply. We are pleased to offer presenters an honorarium of $500 per presentation.

Proposals are due by 8am Pacific Time, January 26th, 2026. Please contact [email protected] with questions.

Cal Poly alumni are invited to gather for a pregame mixer ahead of Cal Poly Night with the
Cal Poly alumni are invited to the inaugural Cal Poly Night with the Golden State Warriors at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Chase Center in San Francisco. Watch the Warriors take on the Philadelphia 76ers and take home a limited-edition Cal Poly x GSW grey long-sleeve shirt (photo coming soon) with your ticket purchase.

Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, Feb. 3. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at SPARK Social SF. Tickets include light appetizers, one drink ticket, s’mores and access to warm fireplaces where attendees can connect with fellow alumni.

🐎💚💛⚽️🏟️ Third Annual Viva Los Mustangs Soccer game was a humongous success! Completely SOLD OUT! 🐎💚💛⚽️🏟️

Two years ago we were happy with the couple dozen in attendance. This year, we were super close to 100 people! We need a bigger venue! The Presidents Suite can no longer hold us! Wow 🤯

This is a great collaboration between the Chicano Latino Faculty and Staff Association, the Latinx Alumni Community, Cal Poly Athletics, with support for the University Presidents Office.

Congrats to all distinguished Latinx community members. So happy with how this event turned out! 🐎💚💛⚽️🏟️

🐎💚💛 What an awesome Latinx Alumni Networking Mixer! Great attendance, getting better with each event! 🐎💚💛

A great time catching up with old friends, meeting new alumni, and exchanging thoughts with current students! This session joined by University Provost Al Liddicoat!

The future looks very bright for our Latinx Alumni Community, and we are proud of what we’ve accomplished and where we are going!
It was a GREAT day to be a Mustang! 🐎💚💛

⚽️🐎💚💛 Calling all Mustangs Alumni! ⚽️🐎💚💛

The Cal Poly Alumni — Latinx Community is coming together Saturday, Oct. 11, starting at 5 p.m. to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special reception at the Cal Poly Alumni House (Building 28 on the corner of Campus and Crandall Way).

After the reception, head over to Spanos Stadium to cheer on the Mustangs as they face UC San Diego. The ¡Viva Los Mustangs! award ceremony will also take place during halftime. Presented by the Cal Poly Chicanx/Latinx Faculty/Staff Association, the awards recognize a student, staff member, faculty member and alum for their significant contributions to the Chicanx/Latinx communities at Cal Poly.
