Delta Chi: Cal Poly Chapter

On behalf of the Cal Poly Chapter of the Delta Chi Fraternity, we are extremely saddened and appalled with the acts of racial insensitivity recently on Cal Poly’s campus.

The actives members of Delta Chi want to assure all parents and alumni that our chapter was not involved and in no way condones the actions of the individual that painted his face black.

Cal Poly’s Interfraternity Council, as well as Cal Poly’s administration, is currently working with the Greek Leaders of our campus to fully investigate the individuals and chapter involved, as well as address the overarching issues brought to light.

We will keep our letters on and our heads held high - our values and our commitment to them is our best defense.
