Today, we’re highlighting our cool communications chair, Caroline Kelleher!

Caroline is a 4th year from Fairfield, CA. She’s majoring in Anthropology & Geography with an individualized concentration in climate science, as well as minors in GIS & Environmental Studies 🗺️

Caroline’s favorite CLA class is GEOG340 - Geography of California. When she’s not watching baseball and crocheting, she likes to study at the library or Nautical Bean.

Meet our amazing activities chair, Alysa Pelosi!

Alysa is a 3rd year from Clayton, CA. She is majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Organizations.

Alysa’s favorite class is anything taught by Social Sciences chair Joan Meyers. When she’s not on a run, or upcycling thrifted clothes, she’s studying in the UU or in the comfort of her bed!

Today, we’re highlighting our awesome DEI & Belonging Chair, Amy Esparza!

Amy is a 4th year Philosophy major with a minor in Law and Society from Chino Hills, CA. Her favorite CLA class is PHIL301 - Latinx Philosophy.

When she’s not studying and contemplating at Kreuzberg Coffee, you can catch Amy absolutely tearing it up at a bowling alley! 🎳 🌟

Today, we’re highlighting the marvelous Meenakshi Vinod, our CLA Ambassadors VP!

Meenakshi is a 3rd year Graphic Communication major concentrating in UX & UI design, which she’s boosting with a Computer Science minor! 👩🏾‍💻

Meenakshi’s favorite CLA class is GRC320 - Managing Quality in Graphic Communication. You can catch her designing awesome work in the GrC Resource Room, or at home surrounded by her ever-growing collection of disco balls & disco-themed items 🪩

This week, we’re highlighting our executive board for the 2025-2026 school year - and who better to start off with than our superstar president, Jeremy Garza! 🌟

Jeremy is a senior from Aurora, Colorado, double majoring in Journalism & Political Science! He’s also accomplishing minors in both Q***r Studies & Ethnic Studies. This is his third year as a CLA Ambassador!

Jeremy’s favorite CLA class is JOUR353 - Advanced Broadcast Journalism. You can find him studying in the Mustang News Newsroom, probably with some sort of caffeinated beverage in hand!

Lauren has been an ambassador for three years and is graduating this quarter. In addition to CLAA, she’s a journalism major who’s heavily involved with the CLA podcast team!

Meet Meenakshi Vinod and learn why she joined CLA Ambassadors!

In addition to CLAA, Meenakshi is involved in Iter8 as a UX Designer and UX Fest as a Multimedia Director. Outside of CLA, she is active on campus through Andaaz, New Student & Transition Programs, and the Indian Students Association Club.

Meet CLA Ambassador ! Trey is a second year, with a major in Art & Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship. As a CLA student, he loves the diverse range of classes where professors really care about you and your journey into a career, in addition to the hands-on learning approach. As a CLA Ambassador, Trey enjoys giving back to prospective students and the Cal Poly community by being a leader within CLA and connecting with those in the college. Out of CLA Ambassadors, Trey is booked and busy with Swim Club, the Triathlon Team, the Club Sports Executive Board, ASI Student Government, and Cal Poly’s Athletic’s Marketing Department. In his free time, you can catch Trey surfing in Morro or hiking Madonna! His favorite thing about SLO is the balance between small city life and countryside/nature. We are so lucky to have you Trey!
