Please join us in congratulating Dr. Tracy Thatcher, Professor Emeritus in Civil & Environmental Engineering, on receiving the prestigious Lyman A. Ripperton Environmental Educator Award from the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA).

Dr. Thatcher has dedicated her career to advancing environmental engineering education and research, with a focus on understanding air quality and reducing human exposure to pollutants in built environments.

Through her commitment to teaching, mentorship, and innovation, she has inspired generations of students to pursue excellence and make meaningful impacts in the environmental field.
