The alpha Kappa Delta Phi chapter at California State University, San Marcos was established on May 2nd, 2015 by Hanna Abeleda, Lyka Agtarap, Jacy Ann Fong, Katherine Fredeluces, Rachelle Gutierrez, Rachel Hernandez, Krisandra Laxa, Trisha Llanes, Anne Nguyen, Kaili Now, Heaven Quiban and Kim Tran. These twelve founding sisters first existed as the sorority interest group, KPDL, which stood for Kn
owledge, Perseverance, Diversity, and Legacy. After six enduring years, KPDL’s hard work and determination became a reality as they brought on California State University, San Marcos’ first Asian-Interest Sorority. This establishment of aKDPhi’s 50th chapter is devoted to embodying the principles of sisterhood, leadership, scholarship, service, and Asian American awareness throughout the Greek system and the University as a whole, while aspiring to achieve meaningful college experiences and eternal friendship through the everlasting bonds of sisterhood.
