The Society of Physics Students - Texas State University Chapter The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a professional association explicitly designed for students.

Membership, through collegiate chapters, is open to anyone interested in physics. The Society of Physics Students is a professional association explicitly designed for students. The only requirement for membership is that you be interested in physics. Besides physics majors, our members include majors in chemistry, computer science, engineering, geology, mathematics, medicine, and other fields.

Our guest speaker for Wednesdays’ colloquium, Dr. Jacob Trevino from The City University of New York will also be discussing his career path and opportunities at CUNY and CCNY and their REU program over lunch Wednesday (4/26) before the afternoon colloquium.
