🇮🇹🍝 As our Geography & Philosophy faculty-led program in Tuscany and Umbria prepares to conclude in a couple of days, we're taking a look back at some of the experiences that made this journey so memorable.
Earlier this month, students participated in a hands-on cooking class at the Umbra Institute's didactic kitchen, where Chef Daniele Guerra guided them through the preparation of a traditional Italian meal. Together, they learned how to make crostini with chickpea cream and marinated red onion, crostini with eggplant sauce, maccheroni with white sausage ragù, and pork ribs with pepper sauce. 👨🍳✨
Experiences like these provide students with a deeper understanding of local culture while bringing classroom learning to life through meaningful engagement with the community.
As the program comes to a close, we are celebrating the memories made, knowledge gained, and connections formed throughout their time in Italy. 🌍❤️
