He is currently a senior with a major in Construction Science Management, and a minor in Business administration. During his time at Phi Kappa Sigma he has had the honor of serving as chapter president and is currently serving on the national nomination executive committee, as well as the new member educator for Phi Kapp. “Phi Kappa Sigma has taught me a variety of skills that range from the professionalism to leadership. In which these skills are vital when it comes to transitioning into the professional field. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with the boys, enjoying the great outdoors, and grilling.”

Sergio Lerma III

A Freshman bio major from Houston. He currently is the Recruitment Chair for Phi Kappa Sigma. In his free time he loves to spend it with his family and friends, play basketball, and go out to eat. When asked why he joined Phi Kap, he said “The brotherhood and love within the fraternity is what I valued the most when I first got here. I’m always here for my brothers and I know it’s the same way vice versa.. God bless and Rush Phi Kapp!”

It is with great sadness we announce the loss of our beloved brother, Andrew. Such a beautiful and kind soul that we will all miss dearly. Andrew was a freshmen just starting his journey at Texas State. He always brought such positive energy within the fraternity, and his loss will be felt eternally. The memories and bonds created will forever live through us, and Andrew will never be forgotten. Our hearts go out to Andrews family in this incredibly tough time. Drew will always be apart of us.
