CSM Library is closed, but don’t worry! We will re-open for Summer Semester on Monday, June 8th.

CSM Library will be closed starting Friday, 5/22. We will reopen for summer session from June 8th through July 18th. Hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8am-6pm. July 20th through July 30th will be from 1pm-6pm. We will be closed on Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays.

Circulation staff and librarians will be available during these hours for circulation and reference support.

Visit your College of San Mateo Library for the last day of Spring 2026! We have energizing drinks, snacks, and places to study and get support from librarians and library staff.

Not only this, but you can de-stress and get creative at CSM Library’s Makerspace with zen gardens, coloring activities, create your own stress ball, and decorate your graduation cap station!

Don’t forget we have lots of art supplies, 3D printers, laser cutters, and a cricut machine too! Have questions? Drop by CSM Library or leave us a comment or DM.

You have worked so hard. You deserve a break. CSM Library invites students to take a break in the Library Makerspace from Monday, May 11th through Thursday, May 21st during our open hours.

There will be relaxing activities such as: therapeutic coloring, serene zen gardens, graduation cap decoration station, button making and Maker workshops during drop-in maker hours.

As always, open access to crafting supplies and friendly library folks who are cheering you on towards the end of the semester.

Energizing and comforting hot beverages and snacks provided in the library circulation desk.

Check the library website to keep up with workshops and other events happening during relaxation week!

Set up for College of San Mateo's Scholarship Awards Ceremony has begun. There is setup activity in front of the library.

But not to worry the Library is open! There will be 4 feet of clearance between the scholarship stage and the library stairs, so come on in, we’re open.

The event is tomorrow, Friday, 5/8 from 5:30pm-7pm.

Congrats to all the scholarship recipients!

The Library Makerspace will be hosting events Tuesday-Thursday every other week throughout the semester (days subject to change)! Join us this week in the CSM Library Makerspace to create your very own Laser-Cut Fridge Magnets.

Join CSM Library Makerspace during Open Education Week on Tuesday, March 3rd from 11am-12:30pm and spark your creativity!

Learn how to make a simple zine and design your own in CSM Library’s Makerspace.

Learn about efforts to lower textbook costs on campus and enjoy free pizza!

Visit us in the Library from March 2nd through March 6 for an interactive exhibit showcasing rising textbook costs. Learn about zero textbook costs courses and how open education resources help reduce costs. You will also have the chance to add your voice to our visual representation.
