In addition to the genres of Poetry, Fiction and Creative Nonfiction, Dominican offers an optional track in Narrative/Poetic Medicine, which allows students to embrace the special role that creative writing can play in the process of healing. Instant Decision Day is an accelerated admission event taking place on campus. An admissions counselor will assist you in filling out the MFA in Creative Writing program application. Bring your application documents, complete a brief interview with faculty, and receive an admissions decision later that afternoon! Registration required.

Note: This event is on the same day as the Creative Writing Retreat. It is possible to attend both events. Please register for each event separately. Instant Decision Day participants will visit the Admissions office between 12-1:30pm and return to the retreat. Contact [email protected] with any questions.
