You want to do something meaningful and interesting for Earth Day (Week)? Join the 2025 Marin County SOD-Blitz, a major citizen science event to collect data on the spread of Sudden Oak Death! Sudden Oak Death (SOD) is an invasive disease which is killing many native trees and damaging the local environment. You can go on a nice walk, enjoy the beauty of nature, listen to some birds, collect some leaf samples and help the local scientists at DUC. Sounds good?
