We are down to 2️⃣ days until commencement *and* the LAST of the spring 2022 semester.

Today we are featuring faculty commencement speaker, Dr. James Murphy, who has been with Niagara County Community College for 20 years!

With so many years of teaching experience, we needed to know his favorite classes to instruct. As an English professor, Dr. Murphy shared that he enjoys teaching all of his courses, "But especially American Literature, Children's Literature, and African American Literature." An honorable mention is journalism because he was able to lead the production of the NCCC newspaper, The Spirit.

When asked what advice he would like to extend to our 2022 graduates, he shared, "To apply what they learned in school, on the job, and in their private lives. Also, to always remember that they have everything they need, inside them, to succeed in their endeavors."

If you're not graduating this this weekend, make sure to take one of Dr. Murphy's classes before your own commencement!
