The Theatre Department has offered continuous theatrical training since 1915. Emphasis is placed on providing individualized attention to our students along with quality instruction in both performance and technical theatre. The department’s resources include 2 full-time faculty, several part-time faculty members, skilled production designers, a flexible black box classroom, a virtual and physical lighting lab, costume and scene shops, green room and dressing rooms, and a 420 seat proscenium theatre. The touring ensemble with its cast of select
theatre majors creates and performs projects
at area high schools and theatre festivals.
