UC Center for New Racial Studies Headquartered at UCSB, we have affiliates on all 10 campuses.

We are a Multi-Campus Research Program of the University of California, with the goal of supporting and networking innovative and justice-oriented scholarship focused on race and racism. Each of the five years of this project has a different research focus.

We were pleased to learn that a recent study co-authored by one of our affiliated faculty members, Professor Andrew Penner of UC Irvine, gained a mention in a Los Angeles Time blog (see link below).
