Rooted in Purpose. Growing in Possibility.

This June, Fielding Graduate University will gather alums, faculty, and friends for the Community Celebration Reception under the theme “Rooted in Purpose. Growing in Possibility.”

The theme reflects both the enduring foundation of the Fielding community and the forward-looking spirit that continues to shape its evolution. For decades, Fielding scholar-practitioners have carried their learning into communities and organizations around the world, guided by a deep commitment to purpose-driven leadership and social impact.

The Community Celebration Reception offers an opportunity to reconnect, reflect on shared accomplishments, and look ahead with intention. In a season marked by transition and opportunity, the gathering affirms the strength of Fielding’s alumni network and the collective possibilities that lie ahead.

The event will include welcoming remarks, informal connection among alumni and guests, and recognition of the community’s ongoing contributions to scholarship and practice.

In this 2-hour seminar, Fielding faculty Dr. Fredrick Steier and emeritus faculty Dr. Jean-Pierre Isbouts take you through the steps of developing, designing and producing a documentary based on your (dissertation or thesis) research, for distribution on YouTube or Vimeo. The first hour will be dedicated to hands-on, practical information; the second hour will be devoted to answering your questions and discussing your ideas, based on your research. Dr. Isbouts’ most recent TV series (2026) is the 14-episode The Vatican and the World of Italian Art. To see his other TV productions, go to Prime Video and enter “isbouts” in the search field.
