A big “Thank You!” to everyone that attended tonight’s 6th Annual Gingerbread Competition and Reception! Our hearts are full of love and gratitude this holiday season, as the canned good donations to our Basic Needs Center (BANC) were overflowing this year 💕 Many hands came together to make this event happen. A special thank you to the Culinary Club Members, the Music Club that performed live music, the Catering Class who prepared all of the delicious appetizers, and all of our wonderful volunteers.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at the Gingerbread House Competition/Reception this Wednesday, December 3rd from 5:30-7:30pm!

Please bring non-perishable canned goods with you to donate to our on-campus BANC, supporting our COC students in need this holiday season.

Refreshments will be served. Our Culinary Club will be hosting a Bake Sale and selling Raffle Tickets for some great raffle baskets! (Cash preferred.)

Please park in Lots 14 or 15 and walk down the stairs to the culinary building. A parking permit is not required diring the hours of the event in lots 14 and 15. There will be signs posted! The campus map is attached.

Saturday! Live free cooking demonstrations are happening at our market! Students from the College of the Canyons Institute for Culinary Education - ICUE will be at our market this Saturday showing you how to prepare easy meals at home using market ingredients! Feel free to ask them your cooking questions as well!

Demonstrations are taking place at various intervals throughout the market. Come on out and enjoy this free and educational event. We are open Saturday from 8:30 to 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Old Town Newhall Library.

Today, we had the privilege of hosting our Fuel-Up Station for students, and we served over 420 meals! All COC students with an I.D. Card were able to enjoy a fresh, delicious, house made lunch prepared by our advanced culinary students at our culinary building. What a wonderful welcometo the Fall Semester!

Welcome to the Fall 2025 Semester!

The ICUE will be hosting our Fuel-Up Station on August 26th from 12pm-2pm. All COC students with an I.D. Card will be able to enjoy a fresh, delicious, house made lunch prepared by our advanced culinary students. The lunch will be served at ICUE building.

This is to support our students in their first days back to school and to support the no child goes hungry initative. Students, we hope to see you on Tuesday!
