Our work study student Nicole shares her recommendations for activities with young children in Santa Fe:
Check out Santa Fam’s Coffee & Crying at the May Center for Learning in Santa Fe on May 9th 10 am – 12 pm. This is a great way to make “mom friends” or even so your little one can play with others! Free drinks and treats will be provided. Lowe’s Kids Club Workshops are offered nationwide, and since we love doing crafts, we will be there. On May 16th from 10am-1pm the craft is going to be a terrarium. Barnes & Noble Storytime is offered every Saturday from 3 – 4pm. We love story times, and my daughter also really loves the store.

Our Student Parent Alliance has some free family activity recommendations for you this November:
"Hi everyone, my name is Nicole. I am a fellow student parent. I am a mom to a 2-year-old, and I wanted to share with you all some activities we love because they are free and fun in our community. The Home Depot Kids Workshop is offered nationwide and I like taking my daughter because she learns new skills each month. I suggest going early because it does fill up fast. (https://www.homedepot.com/c/kids-workshop). I like taking my daughter every Thursday evening to the Santa Fe Children’s Museum to get out of the house to have fun on a budget (https://santafechildrensmuseum.org/explore/plan-your-visit/). Finally, we like Create with O’Keeffe. I really enjoy it because they change locations every month around Santa Fe and the kids create their own masterpieces inspired by O’Keeffe (https://www.okeeffemuseum.org/events/?_event_type=community-events).
