Dear AHC Community,

The Writing Center’s Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) altar is officially on display!
You're invited to participate and honor a lost loved one (pets included) by placing a photo or memorabilia on the altar set up in the Writing Center located in the Academic Resource Center (bldg. L-South).
The altar will be on display from Monday, October 28 - Friday, November 6.

We also invite the AHC community to take part in our "Virtual Day of the Dead Altar"! Join us in celebrating El Día de Los Mu***os by posting a digital photo of a lost loved one (pets included) to add to our altar.
Beneath the photo, add any information about your loved one that you would like to share with the community.
Post the photo and any information beneath the “R.I.P.” spaces located between columns.

The Writing Center remembers our beloved Professor Kate Adams, who passed away last week. Please stop by the Writing Center to write a memory or note of condolence for Kate’s family. If you were lucky enough to work with Dr. Adams when you visited the Writing Center, you know she was a compassionate instructor who strived to help students share their voice. The college will host a memorial service for Dr. Adams on today, October 5, at 3 p.m. in between buildings A and B.
