Santa Rosa Junior College invites students, employees, and community members to take part in Womxn’s History Month 2026, a month-long series of free educational and cultural events taking place throughout March. The celebration brings together faculty, students, authors, and community partners for conversations, readings, and learning experiences that honor the achievements, leadership, and lived experiences of women across generations and communities. This year’s programming includes guest speakers, a campus-wide reading group, and a special collaboration with a local bookstore, with additional details to be announced soon. Event details, dates, and updates are available on SRJC’s Womxn’s History Month website (link in bio).
Thank you to all event coordinators and participants, the Womxn’s History Month Committee — especially Dr. Erica Tom, Dr. Purnur Ozbirinci, and Dr. Sölen Şanlı Vasquez — as well as Keilani Fronda for website support, Amy Chetcuti for marketing support, and Luke Connor and Jesse Hilsenrad for design support.
Please direct any questions about Womxn’s History Month to the event coordinators listed under each event or to Womxn’s History Month coordinator Dr. Erica Tom. If you are interested in joining the Womxn’s History Month Committee for March 2027, please email [email protected]
