An SRJC legend is retiring. Congratulations to our Culinary Arts Chair, Betsy Fischer, whose career at SRJC has shaped generations of chefs and culinary arts professionals!
In her words, "The biggest joy as a teacher is that moment you know you’ve connected to someone in the classroom."

Betsy Fischer has worked in Santa Rosa Junior College’s Culinary Arts Program for 26 years. As she prepares to depart, she dispenses lasting advice for students.

SRJC's 107th Commencement Ceremony will take place on May 23, 2026, at 8:00 AM sharp on Bailey Field, Santa Rosa campus.
The event will be streamed at live.santarosa.edu.
Graduates should plan to arrive by 6:30 a.m. on the morning of the event and proceed to the Graduate Check-in tables out front of the Eastside Burbank Auditorium.
