Saturday, October 18th at 7:30pm
Step into the world of heroes, villains, and epic adventures as SRJC’s Jazz Band and Symphonic Band present Epic Tales: Music from Film & Games!
The Jazz Band opens the evening with Thad Jones’ powerhouse swing chart Big Dipper, Drew Zaremba’s Pistachio, the gamer anthem Megalovania from Undertale, and the superhero swagger of The Incredibles.
The Symphonic Band then takes the stage with Mussorgsky’s thrilling Night on Bald Mountain, the triumphant Dam Busters March, and various film & video game music such as Minecraft.
This performance is dedicated in memory of Natalee Fisher—a celebration of music, storytelling, and the joy of bringing our community together.

You're an inspiration and we appreciate you Ryan!

From silence to song, Ryan Woodard’s journey is nothing short of remarkable.
Diagnosed with autism at age 3 and nonverbal until 9, Ryan found his authentic voice through music. By 11, he was jamming on stage with blues legend Buddy Guy. Today, at just 18, this Santa Rosa native is a gifted multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and frontman of the Ryan Woodard Band, blending blues, funk, classic rock, and surf.
Ryan’s story has already caught national attention — from viral performances with 10M+ views, to receiving a guitar and personal note from John Mayer himself. 🌍
Now an SRJC student, Ryan is honing his craft in music theory, songwriting, and recording — turning dreams of world tours and Grammys into a future within reach.
Read about Ryan’s success, resilience, and authenticity at stories.santarosa.edu. His music is a powerful reminder that limitations don’t define us — passion does.
