The college community gathered this morning to celebrate financial aid counselor Teresa Finch on her last day of work after 49 years of service to North Country! To give you a sense of what a milestone that is, the college has only existed for 58 years!

During her career, Teresa has worked for six different college presidents, starting with Dwight Milne and ending with Joe Keegan, and has had 12 different office locations across our Saranac Lake campus.

Thank you, Teresa, for nearly five decades of hard work, commitment, and care that have helped shape the lives of thousands of students, as well as your colleagues, and friends. Your impact on North Country will be felt for years to come. Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for everything you’ve given to our college family!

🎓 Congratulations to the North Country Community College Class of 2026! 🎉

Today we celebrated 262 graduates during our 58th Commencement Ceremony on the Saranac Lake campus. Surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and staff, these graduates were honored for their hard work, perseverance, and achievements.

The ceremony featured inspiring remarks from student speaker Emma Byl, alumni keynote speakers Carrie and Casey Reardon, and President Joe Keegan, who reminded graduates to use their knowledge and compassion to strengthen their communities and enrich the lives of others.
