☣️ YOU SERVED. YOU MAY HAVE BEEN EXPOSED. DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR TODAY?

Lunch with DVS returns LIVE October 6, and this month we’re putting the PACT Act, toxic exposure, and VA health care on the briefing table.

The landscape has continued to evolve.

VA health-care eligibility has expanded for millions of Veterans exposed to toxins and other hazards during military service.

Additional cancers and blood disorders have been recognized as presumptive conditions for certain qualifying Gulf War and post-9/11 Veterans. And toxic-exposure screenings are helping connect enrolled Veterans with information about possible exposures, health resources, and benefits.

But important questions remain.

🎙️ Featuring Benjamin Pomerance, Deputy Counsel
🎤 Hosted by Alexandra Gibbons, Office of Public Information

We’ll examine:

☣️ Who may qualify based on toxic exposure
⚖️ Recent changes to presumptive conditions
🏥 VA health-care eligibility
🩺 Toxic-exposure screenings
📄 New and supplemental disability claims
🗺️ What New York Veterans should do next
❓ Your questions—answered LIVE

And toxic exposure does not necessarily mean deployment overseas. Depending on the circumstances, exposure involving chemicals, pesticides, asbestos, lead, radiation, firefighting foam and other occupational hazards during qualifying military service may also matter.

If you served—or you serve Veterans—this is a conversation worth joining.

Is there a Veteran or Service Member in your life who could use a few hours to just… breathe? 💙

September is Su***de Prevention Month, and for Veterans and Service Members, conversations around mental health, PTSD and su***de prevention matter deeply. Sometimes reaching out doesn’t have to mean having the perfect words. Sometimes it can simply mean, “Hey, want to go do this with me?”

This month, we’re offering a few FREE, three-hour Freedom Rein demos at the farm. No 8-week commitment. No expectations. Just come as you are, meet the herd and experience it.

And here’s the best part: you can come with them. For these special demos, a friend, spouse, family member, or support person can participate right alongside their Veteran or Service Member, completely free.

So share this with someone you love. Better yet, ask them to come with you. 💙🐴

Three hours. One experience. No expectations.

Message us or email Enzo at [email protected] to find a September date that works.
