At least 97 of those who were charged in connection with the Capitol riot have reoffended in the years since the attack, the nonprofit publication Lawfare has found.

Charter Day marks the moment Skidmore officially became a college in 1922. It is a chance to celebrate the history that began with Lucy Skidmore Scribner’s founding vision in 1903 and grew through the 1911 charter of the Skidmore School of Arts.

Great community collaboration with artist Careina Yard and CREATE Community Studios founder Julie Lewis in Professor Graney's PL 244 "Race, State and Nation" class last week! Our visitors shared their research and film-making around the theme of urban renewal in Saratoga Springs and the harm it did to Black communities in Saratoga Springs, and we shared with them our semester-long research into racial politics at Skidmore. Special thanks to MLK Saratoga and Saratoga Arts for helping this happen!
