In observance of Labor Day, North Central Missouri College will be closed today. Classes and regular campus operations will resume tomorrow, September 8.

Labor Day is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions, dedication, and hard work of workers throughout our communities and across the country. We’re especially grateful for the faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members whose work makes a difference every day.

🍕🚔 Pizza & Police at NCMC–Savannah!

Our Savannah Campus students had the chance to grab some pizza, connect with local law enforcement, and enjoy a little time together outside the classroom yesterday!

A big thank you to the Andrew County Sheriff’s Department and Savannah Police Department for spending time with our students and helping us build connections between our campus and community. ❤️🖤

Great food, great conversations, and a great way to bring Pirates and our community partners together!

That’s a lot of educational wisdom around one table!

This NCMC student had the opportunity to sit down with a faculty member and one of our professional tutors—a former NCMC Nursing instructor. Between the two of them, that’s approximately 80 years of educational wisdom and experience being poured into one student! ❤️🖤

It’s a great example of what uncommon attention looks like at NCMC: experienced educators taking the time to share their knowledge, answer questions, and help our students succeed.

Sometimes the best learning happens around a table. 🏴‍☠️

Applications are now open for NCMC’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography program!

Interested in a career using ultrasound technology to help diagnose and care for patients? NCMC’s Associate in Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography prepares students for this growing healthcare field, with traditional and hybrid tracks available.

The next DMS cohort begins August 2027, and applications are due March 15, 2027. Prerequisite coursework is required, so now is a great time to start preparing!

Applicants must first be accepted as an NCMC student before applying to the program.

Limited seats remain for Welding for Industry at NCMC!

If you’ve been thinking about learning the basics of welding, exploring a new career, or building skills to advance with your current employer, now is the time to register for our next Welding for Industry session.

This short-term, entry-level program provides approximately 80 hours of instruction, including:

Welding safety
OSHA 10 certification
Print reading
MIG (GMAW) welding
Plenty of hands-on practice

3:00–9:00 p.m. | Monday, Wednesday & Friday
NCMC Savannah Campus
Cost: $1,795

Scholarship funds may be available to help offset some costs. The course also includes PPE, a welding jacket, helmet, gloves, OSHA 10, certificate of completion, and welding supplies.

Our Radiologic Technology students are officially putting their skills into practice as they begin their clinical experiences! ☢️🩻

We’re so proud of the hard work that has brought them to this point, and it’s exciting to see our students out in the community gaining hands-on experience, learning alongside healthcare professionals, and taking another step toward their future careers.

📚 Starting the semester strong!

During the first week of classes, these students were already taking advantage of a group tutoring session for Human Anatomy. Working together, asking questions, and getting extra support early can make a big difference as the semester gets underway.

NCMC students have access to tutoring and academic support throughout the semester—because you don’t have to tackle a tough class alone!
