A new semester and a new opportunity! Nadja Brown, a junior at Savannah State University, recently began her first internship as a Marketing Intern with RISE Savannah, kicking off the experience at the State of SCAD event at the SCAD Museum of Art.
And she’s already making history. Nadja is only the second intern RISE Savannah has ever had — and the first selected through the organization’s rigorous application and interview process, earning the opportunity among applicants from Savannah State, Georgia Southern and SCAD.
After transferring to SSU in 2025, Nadja credits her Tiger experience with helping her strengthen her leadership skills, build confidence and find a community that encourages her to step boldly into new spaces.
“I’m proud to step into these spaces knowing that I’m representing Savannah State University and my Tiger family.”
