Fletcher Technical Community College is committed to maintaining a safe, healthy, and drug-free learning and working environment. An important change to Louisiana law increases the legal consequences associated with ma*****na and other controlled substances on or near school property.

Act 305 of the 2026 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature, which took effect August 1, 2026, amended the state’s drug-free school zone law. Under the new law, certain offenses involving smoking, va**ng, possessing, using, or otherwise abusing ma*****na or another controlled dangerous substance on school property, within 2,000 feet of school property, or on a school bus may result in enhanced criminal penalties, including imprisonment.

For certain ma*****na possession offenses committed within a drug-free school zone, a person convicted may face imprisonment for up to one year, with or without hard labor, and a fine of up to $1,000.

These legal consequences are separate from any disciplinary action that may be taken under applicable college policies. The law applies to students, employees, and visitors on or near school property.

Members of the Fletcher community are asked to familiarize themselves with this change and help reinforce Fletcher’s commitment to a safe and drug-free campus. Any suspected violations should be reported through the college’s established procedures.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technology Clinical Coordinator/Instructor to help prepare the next generation of radiologic technologists.

This full time faculty position combines classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction with program coordination, curriculum development, student support, and clinical site collaboration.

Qualified applicants must have a bachelor’s degree, current ARRT certification and registration in radiography or an equivalent credential, at least two years of clinical experience, and at least one year of teaching experience in a JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program.

The position offers flexible hours, no weekends, nights, call, or hurricane duty, and opportunities for additional summer stipends.
