This week’s Kids Culinary Camp wrapped up today with a luncheon prepared by participants in the four-day camp for students who completed grades 5-8. At the luncheon that took place at our Lion Hills Center clubhouse, the campers were presented with certificates of completion, a cutting board, and recipes for the food they had prepared during the week. Members of the campers’ families were in attendance and were treated to lunch. For the meal, the campers cooked Alfredo pasta with chicken and sausage, rice, Szechuan chicken, mixed vegetables, and an assortment of desserts. Spots are still available for the last Kids Culinary Camp of the summer, which runs June 22-25 and is open to those who have completed grades 9-12. The cost is $300 per child.
