After spending most of the day handing out medals and celebrating participants as they crossed the finish line at last month’s Monument Marathon, President Greg Dart stopped to share a few words about why he loves race day.

At Western Nebraska Community College, the support of our community makes a difference every day, and the Monument Marathon is a great example of what can happen when people come together.

Thank you again to all who helped with our 2026 race!
