I've noticed that a few new folks have started following us recently. Welcome!

However, since we merged with the Dept of Foreign Languages, we're now posting on the new combined-department page. Please follow us there instead: Marywood Department of English and Foreign Languages.

Thanks so much!

Greetings, Friends!

On July 1, the Marywood English Department officially merged with the Department of Foreign Languages. We are genuinely excited about the ways that this change will enhance curricular and extracurricular offerings for all our majors.

Our offices will be in the former English Department suite in LAC 217, and former Foreign Languages secretary Peggy Leombruni will be serving the new, merged department.

Please "like" or "follow" us on our new page, "Marywood University Department of English and Foreign Languages." And enjoy the rest of your summer!

""That’s why education-to-work expert Heather E. McGowan likes to say: “Stop asking a young person WHAT you want to be when you grow up. It freezes their identity into a job that may not be there. Ask them HOW you want to be when you grow up. Having an agile learning mind-set will be the new skill set of the 21st century.”

Stop learning and you could find yourself without a job.
