ARAPA April Student of the Month: Hannah Brewster, PA-S1

Hannah is a first-year PA student at Harding University from Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Oklahoma State University. Before PA school, Hannah gained hands-on healthcare experience working as a medical assistant in family practice. Her classmates describe her as hardworking, patient, and kind-hearted, always bringing a supportive presence to those around her. Outside of PA school, Hannah enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter. After graduation, she is interested in pursuing a career in Pediatrics or Women’s Health.

The Harding PA Program is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, 12-month principal faculty position.

We invite physician assistants, physicians, and other appropriately qualified healthcare professionals who are passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and shaping the next generation of healthcare providers to apply.

Position highlights include:
• Teaching in the PA program’s core curriculum
• Advising and mentoring students
• Supporting hands-on technical skills instruction
• Maintaining clinical competency through professional practice
• Engaging in scholarship and service to the college, university, and community

Minimum qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Medicine, or a closely related healthcare field
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience
• Appropriate certification, licensure, and eligibility for practice in the state of Arkansas (based on discipline)

Over the past 20 years, the Harding University PA Program has proudly graduated over 500 Physician Assistants. Each one represents a story of service, compassion, and excellence in patient care.

From the first graduating class to our most recent, Harding PAs can be found caring for patients in clinics, hospitals, and communities across the country, working in a wide range of specialties — from family medicine and pediatrics to surgery, emergency medicine, and beyond.
