The Monterey Bay Regional Ocean Science Research Experiences for Undergraduates is an NSF funded consortium of Monterey Bay academic and research institutions that provide undergraduate students with research training in the Ocean Sciences. Students are provided with paid opportunities to conduct independent research in Marine Biology/Ecology, Oceanography, Ocean Engineering and Marine Geology. Ap
plicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled in a two-year or four-year institution of higher education. Preference is given to students who are rising sophomores or juniors. Students from underrepresented groups and institutions with limited research opportunities are especially encouraged to apply. Partner Institutions
