Tonight (Friday) evening is a fairly unprecedented occurrence with four new member probates/reveals/presentations on the same day and falling back to back. Come check any or all!

6:00 Kappa Delta Chi (unaffiliated) sorority on the Quad
7:00 Lambda Theta Alpha sorority (UGC) at Denny steps
8:00 Sigma Lambda Gamma sorority (UGC) steps between Gerberding and Meany
9:00 Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity (NPHC) HUB Lawn/front patio

Start times can have some slight variances, but it's a great opportunity to come out and see a bunch of sororities and a fraternity all in one night. Take advantage if you can.

26th Anniversary Annual Community Cleanup

Saturday, May 11, 9 a.m.-noon, meet at the U Heights Center Park

Help our neighborhood get ready for the longest running street fair in the United States, the U District StreetFair on May 18 and 19, 2019! Bring yourself, your friends and/or a team from work and help pitch in to make the neighborhood look great for the thousands of visitors who will be arriving the next weekend for StreetFair.

Here is the morning schedule:

9:00 a.m. BREAKFAST AND CHECK-IN
9:30 a.m. NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN UP
11:30 a.m. PIZZA LUNCH, TRASH CONTEST

As part of the activities, the U District Partnership holds a Trash Talk Competition and will offer prizes (donated by local businesses) for found objects (AKA trash) in categories such as:
• Best Mother's Day Gift
• Most Romantic Item
• Most Fashionable Item
• Most Artistic Item
• Best Lawn Ornament
• Item with Best Back Story

Who:
Undergraduate and graduate students interested in participating in a conversation about the opioid crisis in the U.S.

What:
Seattle’s KOMO-TV will hold a nationally-televised town hall discussion about the opioid crisis in America, hosted by Eric Bolling. Planned guests include representatives from Betty Ford, the US Attorney General, People’s Harm Reduction Alliance, and KOMO anchor Eric Johnson. The audience will be able to ask questions of the guests and hosts.

When:
March 7, 2019, approximately 2-3 p.m. (specifics provided at sign up with KOMO contact). The Town Hall will air live at 2 p.m. on March 7.
