🌍♻️ Big news from our corner! We're excited to showcase one of our funded projects "Huskies' Precious Plastics" – a project that's all about turning plastic recycling into a daily habit on campus.

🌟 Their mission is to spread the word about why recycling matters and to get everyone involved. It's not just about knowing; it's about doing. The team is passionate about teaching students and the public how to repurpose plastic actively.

🏗️ Huskies Amy Jean Swanson, Cody Birkland, and Arjun Simha have come up with cool infrastructure that makes recycling plastic easy-peasy. Plus, they're now working on scaling this and rolling out recycling centers across UW campus. How awesome is that?

These Huskies are the brains and brawn behind this fantastic project. They're not just talking the talk; they're walking the walk in making our campus more sustainable.

Meet another 2022 Husky Seed Fund Winner, Huskies for Housing!

Olivia Butkowski and her team are in the process of developing in-person art installations to be featured across the UW Seattle campus and an online resource filled with advocacy & volunteer activities for UW students and the broader UW community. By inviting the UW community to participate in ongoing learning, dialogue, and interactive experiences, we hope that this project will inspire people to leverage their unique areas of expertise, experiences, and networks, and work together to be agents of change for housing justice.
