Area 01 is a community-focused interdisciplinary learning destination. It features a maker space, mu Discover a passion with a purpose!

Area 01 Community Center is a community-focused, interdisciplinary learning destination where students can connect, imagine, discover, innovate and responsibly create. Area 01 is free to use for all HFS residents. Non-resident UW students may purchase quarterly memberships. Students wishing to use the Sound and Image lab only must fill out the User Agreement here: https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/surv

Happy summer huskies! Area 01 will reopen for summer quarter tomorrow at 4:00pm. Please note that our new summer hours are 4:00pm–11:00pm daily.

IMPORTANT TIME CHANGES

Area 01 will have reduced hours on Friday, June 10th, and will close at 5pm.

Area 01 will then be closed for summer break until we reopen on Tuesday, June 21st.
