HFS plays an integral role in supporting the UW’s m

ission by providing safe, convenient and affordable housing as well as programs promoting personal development and learning. Students find a ‘home away from home’ in our residence halls and our single student and family housing apartment communities. We also operate restaurants, espresso bars and markets throughout campus. Meet Haley, Callista, and Sarah from the 3rd floor!
Haley is the 3rd floor RA, and she’s a senior studying biology! She is from Gig Harbor, her favorite spot on campus is the life sciences building, and her favorite hobby is climbing or going to the gym. One fun fact about Haley is that she plays the flute!
Callista is the ARD of Lander! She is from Redlands, California, and is a senior studying public health/global health. Her favorite spot on campus is Suzzallo, her favorite hobby is making charcuterie boards, and if she could take a trip anywhere, she would go to Santorini, Greece!
Sarah is Lander’s resident director! She majored in international relations and history, and is from Salt Lake City, Utah. Her favorite hobby is baking on rainy days and her favorite UW spot is Sylvan Grove. Fun fact: she was in the Peace Corps in Kyrgyzstan. (bonus points if you can point to it on a map!)

Meet Nikita and Heon from the 4th floor!
Nikita is a junior studying accounting through Foster! She is from Nashville, Tennessee, her favorite hobby is painting, and her favorite spot on campus is the waterfront park by the fisheries building. Fun fact: she has lived in six different states! (Georgia, Nevada, Texas, Tennessee, Washington, and Alabama)
Heon is a junior studying political science. He is originally from South Korea but lives in Mukilteo, his favorite place at UW is Lander Hall, and his favorite hobby is relaxing. A fun fact about Heon is that his favorite color is blue!

Meet Kimmy and Kiran from the 5th floor!
Kimmy is a senior majoring in communications. She's from Puyallup, her favorite hobby is cycling, and her favorite place at UW is Husky Stadium! Once she graduates, Kimmy will be headed to Paris for a fashion internship!
Kiran is a biology major from Wilmette, Illinois! She's a sophomore, hiking is her favorite hobby, and her favorite spot on campus is Parrington Lawn. Fun fact: Kiran is an identical twin!

Meet Alena and Nolan from the 6th floor!
Alena is a Philosophy: Ethics and LSJ major and is a junior this year. She is from Spokane and her favorite hobby is cooking! You can catch her in the 4th floor of the Allen Library, and a fun fact is that she plays the guitar, drums, and a few other instruments.
Nolan is a business major who is also a junior this year. He is from Maple Valley, his favorite spot on campus is Suzzallo, and a hobby he enjoys is watching football. Fun fact: he was voted 'most fashionable' in junior high for always wearing a UW sweatshirt and blue jeans!
