As many of you know, we run our annual Stuff the Bus philanthropy during Spring quarter every year. Throughout this, we collect non-perishable food items and cash donations that go to Food Lifeline, a partner of Feeding America that operates in the Greater Seattle Area. While we are unable to collect physical food donations this year, we are doing a virtual food drive.

Every dollar donated provides five meals to those in need in our community. Last year we donated over 23,500 meals and hope to surpass that this year with a goal of $5,000, or 25,000 meals. A link to donate is posted below. Hoping we can all push through this and help those in need during these trying times. https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/stuff-the-bus3

We would like to introduce our # 's 1-4 for the first half of the school year:

Senior Alex Bouterse is our President ( #1). Alex grew up on Fox Island, Washington and attended Gig Harbor High School. At UW, he is majoring in both Biology and Physiology and intends to go to medical school following graduation. One of Alex’s favorite memories involving the Lodge is weekend trips to Brother Alex Moses’ cabin with the rest of his PC.

Junior Stephen Reller is our Internal Vice President ( #2). Stephen is from Bellevue, Washington where he attended Bellevue High School. He is a direct admit to the Foster School of Business and is majoring in Finance. His favorite memories involving the Lodge are the summer trips to Lake Chelan and going to Whistler during winter quarter.

Junior Jackson Reed is our External Vice President ( #3). He too is a direct admit to the Foster School of Business that is majoring in Finance. Jackson comes to UW from San Ramon, California where he attended the astutely named California High School. His favorite memory involving the Lodge is going to the Watershed Country Music Festival in August with everyone who lived in this past summer.

Senior Michael Parnell is our Treasurer ( #4). Michael is from Sumner, Washington where he attended Cascade Christian High School. He is also a direct admit into the Foster School of Business majoring in, you guessed it, Finance. Michael enjoys traveling and hiking, his two favorite places that he has been to are Cape Town, South Africa and London, he aspires to summit Mount Rainier someday. @ Chi Psi Fraternity at the University of Washington

He graduated from high school with a 4.0 unweighted GPA while playing four years of Varsity Lacrosse, two years of Varsity Golf, and being the Student body Vice President. Jackson’s fun fact is that he has been to three lacrosse state championships and lost all of them, maybe he can learn something from .mahony. Welcome to the Lodge Jackson!
