Actual copies of Volume 2 are finally here!!!!!! In order to make Chimera more accessible for RC students (who, after all, are our main audience) we've decided to set the price for these at $6 each! Until we have a more official ordering system, shoot us an email or message if you'd like to order, and we'll figure something out :)

Good news--a proof copy of volume 2 has arrived! After a few minor edits, the final copies will be on their way!

Do you know someone doing something really cool?

Are any of your friends building robots or sequencing genes? Do you know anyone researching dolphin speech or studying earthquake hazards in the Andes? Isn’t one of your friends writing a play? Weren’t you just talking to someone studying education in Bhutan? What about your friend who runs that amazing webcomic? At the Robinson Center, it seems like there are people involved in all sorts of incredible research, projects, and activities.

Chimera is on the hunt for Robinson Center Students who are extra- extra- extraordinary. We plan to feature some of these amazing individuals—and their work—in the upcoming print edition of Chimera. Our goal is to showcase the exciting things that RCers are doing, and to shine a spotlight on the amazing talents of EEPers and Acads. To do this, we need your help! If you know someone whose work deserves a shout out, please nominate them here: https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/dandim/223298 (The survey is confidential—we won’t tell the person who nominated them). You are also welcome to nominate yourself, if you think what you’re working on is really neat. We’re also excited to hear about the cool stuff RC Alums are up to, so feel free to nominate recent and not-so-recent RC graduates as well.
