WOOF is a collaborative collection of the University of Washington’s finest students across all disciplines who are dedicated to the advancement of 3D Printing technology. Imagine a technology where you can easily and accessibly manufacture your ideas and share your creation with the world. Enter 3D printing: an additive process where micro-thin layers of a given raw material (plastic, metal, etc.

) Everything from industrial machines to custom shoes to prosthetic limbs can potentially be materialized with 3D printing technology. And ultimately, manufacturing can be decentralized and closer to the end-users to more efficiently create products that benefit those who use them. This means faster prototyping, unbounded innovation, reduced carbon footprint, and a world where people have greater accessibility to the products they need.
