UW Center for Game Science

UW Center for Game Science The Center for Game Science at the University of Washington. Creators of Foldit, Refraction, and more!

The Center for Game Science focuses on solving hard problems facing humanity today in a game based environment. Most of these problems are thus far unsolvable by either people alone or by computer-only approaches. We pursue solutions with a computational and creative symbiosis of humans and computers.

Come learn fun concepts including simple programming, free online tools, and "unplugged" computational thinking activities. Workshop taught by UW and Carnegie Mellon faculty, with sessions from current Allen School students and alumni! Check it out!
