UW Umang "Umang" means "Joy" in Sankrit! UW Umang is a Registered Student Organization of the University of Washington.

We have been an integral part of UW since 11 years. Our goal is to spread the Indian culture and values among all people. Umang which means Happiness is an Indian Students association at University of Washington, Seattle. Its an inclusive organization to socialize and meet people from the Indian origin. Our friend friend Parth Pandya has released his 2nd book titled 'r2i: Return to India'.

Parth returned to India after being in the US for a period of 16 years and this book chronicles his experiences in the two years of his stay back in India. The book has been out for over a month now and has been getting good reviews on Amazon.
