All are welcome to next week's Native Indigenous Film Festival, beginning at the historic Oldham Theater in downtown Wi******er at 6 pm. The Film Festival is a production of the Indigenous Engagement Initiative and the Division of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in partnership with the co-sponsors highlighted on the poster.

The theme of the festival is Indigenous Women and Activism. Each of the three documentaries presents a thought-provoking perspective on Indigenous lives and situations. They shed light on the difficulties faced by Indigenous women, but more importantly, they highlight the immense fortitude and resilience of these women in their respective communities.

Note that three films will be screened, with the first shown at the Oldham and the next two in Nailor Auditorium. Each film will feature comments before the film by filmmakers and Q&A sessions afterward.

Hope to see you there!
