We will have a choice of five mocktails, themed around Banned Books.
Bring your chosen book(s) to bedazzle and sip with friends!
Part of the time will be an open chat about book recs and current reads!

As part of our University-wide Recycling Reboot Program, all materials placed within blue receptacles inside this building will now be sorted, weighed, and sent off campus to be recycled!

This includes plastic bottles and jugs (Numbers 1 & 2), aluminum cans, mixed paper, and broken-down cardboard.

Follow along as we expand across the University, building a clearer understanding of how much recyclable material our campus produces and how properly managing that waste could create ecological, social, and economic benefits for our community.

Most banned and challenged books share stories from members of diverse communities. By limiting the types of stories that can be shared, adults and children alike are being told that they don’t belong, and that their lived experience poses a threat. Libraries are places for all people to learn and grow, and the practice of banning books is entirely counterproductive to that purpose. Come and check out books that have been challenged across the US today, and experience these “dangerous” voices and all they have to offer. Featured this month in the main lobby!
