​Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) was established on July 1, 2019, with the merger of Cumberland County College and Rowan College at Gloucester County. We are a comprehensive, two-year, dual-campus regional institution sponsored by the residents of Cumberland and Gloucester Counties through their respective Boards of County Commissioners. RCSJ seeks to assist each person in the development of

a career, while at the same time developing humanistic values and encouraging personal enrichment. The College is dedicated to its community and provides college and university transfer programs, career education, community services and special assistance programs. The College enrolls nearly 8,000 students and offers more than 100 career and associate degree programs. Fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the College is guided by a five-year strategic plan focused on student success, leadership and service-learning, and economic and workforce development.

RCSJ is proud to congratulate our 17 Gloucester County Institute of Technology (GCIT) seniors who have earned an Achievement Award for having completed their associate degree requirements through RCSJ’s Collegiate High School and High School Option Program (HSOP)! Through building life-long skills and excelling in academics, they achieved their goals and invested in their future. Congrats, Cheetahs!

On May 14, Rowan College of South Jersey celebrated our students during RCSJ–Cumberland's Seventh Annual Commencement Ceremony. Approximately 400 students, representing the Class of 2026, were present and awarded their degrees and certificates.

Then on May 15, over 400 students from RCSJ–Gloucester's Class of 2026 celebrated their hard work and accomplishments at the Gloucester Campus during its 7th annual commencement ceremony.

“It was really difficult, just seeing everybody so sick, and I think that's what really triggered me to want to do nursing. I would see how the nurses would interact with the patients and their families, trying to get them through what was happening... that's what made me want to become a nurse."

On April 2, the Nutrition Club, Yoga Club, and Lifestyle Medicine Club collaborated for a special event "Yoga and Yogurt Bowls". Students were able to de-stress with yoga and sound bowls and then enjoy a healthy snack while socializing.
