There’s a lot taking shape on Bison Hill.

This month, crews continue work around Raley Chapel and the Geiger Center, including the ponds, bridge, walkways, water features and surrounding landscape areas. Inside Raley Chapel, progress continues in the basement, east and west wings, the future Raley Drawing Room and Potter Auditorium.

At the Geiger Center, the west porch has been poured, drainage work is complete and crews are preparing for the west entrance steps, landscaping, irrigation and sodding.

Some of this work is easy to see. Some of it is happening behind walls, underground or above ceilings. Together, it is preparing spaces where future students will worship, learn, gather and grow.

Oklahoma Baptist University is expanding graduate healthcare education with the launch of a Doctor of Physical Therapy program on Bison Hill.

OBU plans to welcome the program’s first class in Fall 2027, pending accreditation milestones. The accelerated hybrid program will prepare students for careers as licensed physical therapists through academic instruction, clinical education and hands-on professional development. Students will learn to support patient mobility, recovery and long-term wellness while approaching care through a faith-integrated perspective.

The Doctor of Physical Therapy program joins OBU’s growing healthcare initiatives, including programs in occupational therapy, physician associate studies and speech-language pathology.
