This weekend, our Powerline students and faculty showed what community really looks like. 💛

A local family needed some extra Christmas cheer this year ( # Margarett Strong.) After checking with our faculty (and making sure we could safely bring out the bucket trucks!), more than 20 Powerline students volunteered without hesitation.

On Sunday, they rolled out with 6 bucket trucks and pickup trucks loaded with ladders. In just a few hours, they lit up three towering pine trees, hung a wreath on the barn, and even decorated the playset—bringing a little more brightness to a family that truly deserves it. 🎄✨

We’re incredibly proud of these students for using their skills to lift others up. This is what NCC is all about. 💙🤍

With the recent retirement of Ross Loomans, we are pleased to announce that Dustin Timmerman, formerly Lyon Rec’s Line Foreman, has officially taken on the role of General Manager, effective November 1, 2025.

Dustin has been an integral part of Lyon REC for 16 years, demonstrating exceptional leadership, dedication, and a deep commitment to Lyon REC and our community. His hands-on experience and commitment to excellence make him an outstanding choice.
