ShepConnections is a Shepherd University student group which aims to support the spiritual growth of college students in a diverse, non-denominational context. ShepConnections seeks primarily to build compassion and community in an op

en and non-judgmental way to allow for individual expression. We gather together to explore various ways of listening—to our own lives and experiences, to one another, and to the Spirit that often brings us back home. Our intention is to provide an inclusive space for our LGBTQIA+ students and Allies as well as all seekers, regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation. Shepherdstown Presbyterian's More Light Group is hosting a Pride Thanksgiving on November 12th from 5PM until 8ish. We have been doing this for several years as a way to provide a safe space for those in the local q***r community and allies to gather without judgment for a delicious meal. Our EPYA youth are doing the decorating, so it will be spectacular!

If you can bring a dish, please RSVP and let us know what you're bringing. Can't bring something? We still want to see your smiling face. There is no need to dress up for this chosen family Thanksgiving. Come as you are.
