Hello All.

This past year has been a fun one, and I know we haven't been very active on our page, but next year will be better. Earlier this year we decided, as a team, to hold a showcase where we would show all of the awards we had won throughout the year, and present our speeches to our community. The event would have been vary similar to what it used to be. We were saddened to have to stop planning the event, and admit that it just wasn't going to happen this year, but it will be back next year.

That does not mean our successes this past year will not be recognized. Below I have a collage of pictures from the past year. This year has been a very good one, one of our greatest years to date. We competed in AFA, NFA, and CFA tournaments at an exceptional level, finished second in our state tournament, behind Marshall University, and beat teams like Ohio University and Butler University. We also sent four of our best members to Lord Fairfax Community College in November where we took 3rd place out of 8 teams.

We would also like to thank all Shepherd Debate & Forensics alumni. The success we have today is set up by all of you, and we are all happy for the time you put in to make Shepherd Debate what it is today. What you were able to pass on has lead to the success of this generation, and the next generations of debaters at Shepherd University. For that, we all thank you.
