Last Saturday, we proudly recognized the Class of 1976 on the 50th anniversary of their graduation during the 70th Annual Alumni Emeritus Club Induction Ceremony. This year's celebration featured a pre-game brunch gathering, a special induction ceremony, and presentations about Shepherd University's future by Dr. Cameron Wesson, Shepherd's 17th president, and Austin Slater '76 on behalf of the Shepherd University Foundation. Thank you to all who joined us in honoring this remarkable class and continuing a cherished tradition.

🎥 Jillian Sobrino '21 is the September Alumni Highlight! 🎬

Jillian has quickly made her mark in the film industry as a director, writer, editor, and post-production professional. After earning her degree in Communications/New Media at Shepherd and an MFA in Film from the New York School of Visual Arts, she built a career in New York City, where she works full time in post-production while developing independent film projects. Her festival-recognized short film, Killing Myself, has reached audiences around the world, and she just released her second short file, This Land Is Cursed, filmed right here in West Virginia. She is currently developing her first horror feature film. In this Alumni Highlight interview, Jillian reflects on her journey from Shepherd student to professional filmmaker and shares advice for aspiring creatives.

A 1988 graduate of Shepherd College, Meredith Moore has spent nearly four decades building a successful career as an entrepreneur. In 2018, she and her husband, J. Kelly Moore, launched Kelly Moore Sheds & Marketplace in Williamsport, Maryland, combining their shared passion for customer service, quality craftsmanship, and community engagement.
