Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2026!

We admire your level of enthusiasm, dedication, and resilience that you have shown the past few years.

Here are a few pictures from last weeks events! Dr. Jayleen Galarza Patterson was chosen to speak at Lavender Graduation and Dr. Jen Clements was the speaker for the Graduate Commencement Ceremony. Professor Masgalas' daughter also graduated this Spring from Shippensburg University!

SU News recently published an article about SCRC Coordinator, Emily Fox. The Shippensburg Community Resource Coalition is a university center for excellence and affiliated with the Department of Social Work and Gerontology.

New SCRC Coordinator Emily Fox highlights the coalition’s local impact

Emily Fox, the new coordinator at the Shippensburg Community Resource Coalition(SCRC), brings a mix of nonprofit leadership, community organizing and macro social work expertise to the SCRC of Shippensburg University.

The coalition strives to provide quality social services and youth programs that are accessible, safe and recognize the dignity and worth of every person. By providing university resources and community partnerships, the coalition addresses food and housing insecurity, as well as youth mental-health concerns.
